:) for those of you who had your membranes stripped will you share how long it took to go into labor? I appreciate it so much!!! Congrats to all you Mamas!!!

    i had my membranes stripped at 39 weeks with no go, and again at 40 weeks exactly(thursday) and i went into labour at 41 weeks 1day(friday) and i had Samantha at 8am saturday morning

    Labor started 4 hours after my membranes were stripped and DS was born about 8 hours later. 
    Baby #3 is on the way!

    Contrax increased enough to go to hospital where they broke my water at 5cm... about 4 hrs after membranes were stripped and I had baby less than 7 hrs later.

    I was 4cm already at my appt when my membranes were stripped - doc was pretty sure I was ready to rock (and he was right)

    stripped 2 times...39 and 40 weeks. baby came at 40w2d.

    on a sidenote: relax,,,it hurts more if you tense up.

    I had mine stripped around 3 pm at 39 w 6 d.  I started having mild contractions within about 30 minutes.  My water broke the next morning at 6:30 and DS was born at 8:46 that night.

    I didn't have mine stripped but my best friend did and she went into labor a few hours later and had her baby that night.

    Ahhh you ladies are giving me hope! :) with my first he was born at exactly 38 weeks (the day before I was suppose to get them stripped). Now with this one I am having them stripped tomorrow. A week ago I was just about 2.5 dilated but my cervix was still back and high. She has been super low and "engaged" for over 3 weeks!! The pressure is killing me... Non stop lighting crotch... Haha! Ahhh I hope it works!!

    I never went into labor after mine sere stripped.  They ended up inducing 3 days later.
