Hi! I saw a post the other day that mentioned you had done a scrapbook for Aurora. I feel like I might finally be ready to start on Elijah's scrapbook and I was wondering if you would mind sharing a little of what you put in yours? I feel creatively blocked. I had so many u/s, I don't know how to put them all in there. I'm also having trouble thinking of embellishments to use for boys - I hate looking in the stores and seeing the ones for babies with cute shoes and toys. There need to be special ones for us. If you don't want to share I completely understand that it is something very personal and special to you. I'm just trying to find some inspiration!

Here's the FB album: https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/album.php?aid=285756&id=523270622
I hope you can see it.
It starts with a scrapbook that I made for my SIL, all she had to do was add pictures. Then it has the ones I made for Aurora. Maybe someday i'll add in the pictures we got of her from NILMDTS, but right now all the pages are in her box which we haven't opened in 3 months.

I had planned on doing a scrapbook page eventhough I never had an ultrasound picture or anything. I got pregnant on our anniversary so I was going to put a picture of DH and I from that anniversary and our story on the page.I pretty much got everything together just never put it on the page but this is an embellishment that I was planning on using.

Thanks Lorlei...I like that one. I have been really into making embellishments lately (though admittedly, mostly girly flowers) and have been contemplating creating ones to sell on Etsy that are less baby toy related. I'm sure it won't happen, but it's a thought anyway.
Oooh - I think you definitely should. I love the look of homemade embellishments over the ones that are sold in stores. The ones in the stores can often times look too cartoony for my tastes. I do have a Cricut and will create some of my own embellishments but definitely nothing worthy of selling.
