I'm not sure I will believe my symptoms when/if I do get KU. I've felt as if there is a baby moving around in my gut for the last year. Having experienced it before, I would SWEAR it feels exactly the same as movement pre 20-ish weeks. Sometimes it almost feels like I am going nuts, it's so real.
For real. Her tubes had been tied for like 8 years. She assumed when she started missing her period that she was starting menopause.
I remember when my mom thought she was pregnant when she started menopause. She tested for weeks. Dad was disappointed when she wasn't. he thought he was going to get a boy.

My mom went through this too. She actually came up to me one day about 5 years ago to tell me that she took a pregnancy test and I about fell out of my chair. It was negative but menopause screwed her up so bad that she thought she was pregnant.

I've got that phantom fetal movement thing going on, too. I haven't gotten my PP AF yet, either. I took a test last week because I didn't want to end up on IDKIWP.

Dude, my phantom fetal movement hasn't stopped since Jillian was born. I don't think feeling a baby move when I didn't know I was pregnant would necessarily make me think I was pregnant. Of course, I would think things like projectile vomiting all over my kitchen would tip me off before then.
Also, my mother got KU after she'd had her tubes tied for three years. I'll have to ask her if she realized she was pregnant right away.

Re: I didn't know I was pregnant
I would be mortified.

I wonder if we hadn't started trying (and I didn't take that OPK) if I would have ended up in that situation!
I'm always like "How the hell do you not know?!" but then I watch an episode and it kind of makes sense. Scary stuff.
