The past 24 hours have been very scary

I went to the Dr yesterday because I just haven't felt right, and wanted some reassurance that everything was ok. They did bloodwork and and u/s to rule out ectopic pregnancy. I got a message at 11pm last night from the Dr (that I didn't get until 7:30this morning) that I was having an ectopic pregnancy and needed to get to the ER immediately. I didn't as I didn't even get the message and just called the office first thing this morning. They had an appointment for 1pm today so I went in, assuming this was the end and they would have to give meds to end the ectopic pregnancy. This Dr was so very very nice and helpful. According to the u/s, its very hard to tell at this point where the sac is located. It could be in the uterus at the very top, or it could still be at the very end of the tube, not quite in the uterus yet. Its to early to know for sure. My hcg was 4260 which is great for this point. So right now, I have to get my hcg taken again tomorrow at 48 hrs to see if its properly doubling. If it is we can hope its in the right spot and just continue on. If not, I have to assume that it could be ectopic and go from there. I have been all over the place today on how I feel. I am clinging to my small piece of hope that everything will be ok, and cannot wait for the results tomorrow night. Thanks for listening, sorry this is so long.
