Success after IF

Can anyone diagnose this rash?

G has a bad rash on her labia....it's lots of little red bumps.  Her butt/crack look fine.  I can't really find anything on google that describes this....it's not in folds so I don't think it is a yeast infection.

It first appeared Sunday and she had eaten eggs for the first time on Saturday....but not since and it is still there-- hasn't gotten worse, but hasn't gotten better either.  We've been using triple paste and trying to keep the diaper off a bit but no luck.

Thoughts??

  • hmmm...i wonder if it could be a heat rash of some sort?

  • Well, upon more research, with photos....I think it might be a YI.  Ugh.  Poor baby, she doesn't actually seem bothered by it but guess we're going to the pedi....

  • Katie has had this before. I think it is probably yeast. I use an OTC antifungal and triple paste and it usually goes away pretty quick.

  • Karly has this.  She actually has it right now. We have to use nystatin.
