Okay ladies - tell us what you did today to burn off that baby weight!! Also just to make it a little more exciting I have added a workout related question and a baby related question.

Workout question: What are your favorite healthy snacks?

Baby question: Have you started thinking about halloween costumes? If so, what will LO be for Halloween?

  • I had my last personal training session today so that was my workout for the day.

    I am not good with healthy snacks so I figured I would ask you guys what you eat.  I eat grapes as a snack but that might not be the healthiest since it is loaded with sugars. I used to eat grapes every morning to get DD kicking.

    I asked about Halloween because I wanted ideas. So I cant wait to read what you write!!

  • I did a 30 minute walk with LO and cleaned the house including many trips up and down the stairs. My goal is 150 minutes this week.

    My favorite healthy snack right now is watermellon.

    I have no clue about her Halloween costume! Perhaps a fairy!

  • I started the 30 day shred today since I've seen people on the boards talk about them so much! 

    My favorite healthy snack is apple slices with peanut butter.  yum!  I also love watermelon!

    I haven't even BEGAN to think about halloween!

  • Today is a day off from working out.  Although I did walk around the mall for 2 hours wearing DD.

    Healthy snacks: I usually eat grapes & berries while I BF DD, apple or banana w/ peanut butter, yogurt, nature valley granola bars, hommus & baby carrots, string cheese. 

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.
  • Workout:am- Baby Yoga class with LO, pm - 5 mile speedwork run with DH

    Favorite snack: Hummus, pita, snap peas, and Dubliner Cheese

    Halloween Costume: Since DH is an Aerospace Engineer, we've decided to go with an I Dream of Jeannie theme.

    He's going to be Major Nelson, I'm going to be Jeannie, LO is going to be Jeannie's purple bottle. I'll have to make her costume, but it should be a riot.

  • Work out:  I did the 30 day shred + 30 min of abs/weights, & took ds for a 2mile walk at the park

    snack: hummus with chopped veggies, fruit salad (chop up pineapple/honey dew/strawberries/banana's in little pieces w/grapes and blueberries) homemade granola w/ soy yogurt & agave nectar

    halloween: idk yet, i just started looking.  but its one of my fave holidays & we go all out!

  • power walked for 45 minutes while pushing DS.  And I missed yesterdays post, but I did the same thing plus 20 minutes on my WiiFit boxing and hula-hooping.

    fav snack: red peppers with fat free three cheese ranch dressing. yum!  i also like grapes and strawberry yogurt 

    and I havent even thought about halloween! lol

  • I went to baby boot camp at the Y (45 minutes) and went for a 30 minute walk later on.

     For a healthy snack I like to slice up a banana and top it with granola and honey.  I also eat a lot of nuts and dried fruits.  And fresh fruits this time of year.

     My mom bought DD her halloween costume last year when they were on sale.  It's just an orange fleece footy outfit with a big green pumpkin on it.  Works for me!
