morning sickness

PLEASEEEE tell me you have some sort of secret to help alleviate my morning sickness.  I'm not puking but i am extremely nauseous 24/7, i am so over saltines and gingerale, im exhausted and can barely work.  A few of the girls at work today called me out and asked if I was pregnant, of course I denited it but its written all over my face.  Any secrets?  The Dr. gave me these anti nausea pills that dissolve in my mouth but they dont work and taste gross!  help me!

  • i am pretty sure you can get sea bands at the pharmacy.

for me anyway any bit of sugar makes the nausea go away.  i had a banana and sprite today and that helped me at least.

i am not really sure, but i think that simple sugars and simple carbs help.  that's why saltines are good.  there is not a lot of fat in them.  fat slows down your digestive system which is already slowed down due to pg.  carbs and sugars are easy for your system to handle.

    Things I've tried:

    Lemon water
    Lemonade
    Sea bands
    Hard candy
    Sour Patch Kids
    Vitamin B6
    Ginger Ale
Saltines before getting out of bed
    Cold fresh fruit

I got sick of the lemon water and saltines real fast. I don't think ginger ale is helping at all. Hard candy does take away the nausea for a short time. Sour patch kids, no.

I think what's helping is the B6. I was horrible Mon.-Wed. this week, started the B6 Wed. morn, and yesterday and today have been slightly better. Yesterday, my appetite and thirst actually came back for a short period. Today is not so good, but still better than earlier in the week. Eating cold fruit has also been good for me. I started wearing the sea bands yesterday. I have no idea if they're doing anything other than hurting my wrists, lol. But I'll keep wearing them for now.
