Is this heartburn or something else?

My left boob region is in some serious on/off pain since yesterday. Its a burning pain. not consistent, kind of comes and goes, and was at its worst last night after we ate pasta for dinner.

I've never been a heartburn sufferer. It seriously feels like it is my left breast, not under my chest bone but above. Does this make any sense?

Doesn't sound like heartburn. Could it be a pulled muscle, or possibly your body changing because of the pregnancy? Maybe a pinched nerve?

To me heartburn felt like stomach acid... coming back up my throat (GROSS!).

I cannot confirm if that is heartburn or not. I have had heartburn before, but have felt it along my left side under my arm...but was a similar burning sensation that comes and goes. Maybe try taking some tums (my dr said tums were okay during pregnancy) and see if it goes away.

Makes sense to me, as I had a similar feeling. Warm, burning, and sometimes shooting pain in the left boob (bigger of the two for me) and underarm region. Doc said to blame it on the expanding breast tissue - which extends well under your arm. Also, she said that breasts are very sensitive to caffeine, so if you are eating amount of very small traces of caffeine - chocolate, etc., that your boobs can sense it and trigger some pain/sensitivity as a result. Heartburn feels like taking a shot of tequila or whisky - straight burn down the middle. Hope it starts to subside for you soon!

OMG, no kidding! Just up the water if you might be coming near any trace caffeine sources. And otherwise, nothing else to do but add it to the list of fabulously weird feelings we get!
