    I don't think I will be having a shower.  We live across the country from most of our family/friends and don't have the time to take off and go home before LO comes.

    My mom can't afford it, I don't have sisters, my girlfriends all live out-of-town.

    I doubt I'm having a baby shower.

    I'm probably not.  I have no family within 1500 miles, my husband's family doesn't go out of their way for anyone, and I don't have many close female friends.  

    I don't foresee anyone offering one.  My family asked me to register so they could send gifts.  I obliged.

    I doubt it. DH's family doesn't do showers, and my family hasn't mentioned it - I'm the first, so I don't know whether we will be shower people or not.
