Re: Kaiser peds rec?

  • Gosh, Im at Kaiser Woodland Hills. So thats not going to help. But I noticed you are due in December, and you might "pick" your Ped now, they may not be available. I didnt get my first choice, but the Ped we are with now (she was assigned to us) is amazing.

I was recommended to a male Ped first and he was terrible. Not into breast feeding, no beside manner. Just sucked. So I immediately called the member services and told them I will not go back. They gave me someone who they thought would be good for us and she's great.

So, my advice would be to ask you midwife or OB first and then research on the Kaiser website to read about the docs and have a first, second and third choice.

    Good luck!

  • ooh, anni_t where did you deliver around woodland hills?  would you recommend it?  i'm in calabasas and DH and i are planning to TTC soon, but we're new to the state and don't know anything about any of the doctors or hospitals.

  • I delivered at Kaiser Woodland Hills. I dont know if you are with Kaiser, but it was awesome. We had a midwife and an OB. I had a natural vaginal birth and they really helped me thru the process. Aces!

    My Midwife was Linda Faydo

and my OB was Bonnie Maxfeild

  • My OB is Bonnie Maxfeild, she is great. Our pediatrician is Dr. De La Riva. She is amazing!!!
  • Thank you.  I'll see if Dr. La Riva is available when the LO is born.
