Well how do you like them apples?

After giving Lila her medication wrong for SIX weeks the PA finally told me yesterday if you give Zantac and Prevacid together they cancel eachother out. So, I gave them to her the right way and guess who slept until 5am and then went back to sleep until 9? I have a half mind to have my pedi paged in the middle of the night for a few weeks.

    Pedi FAIL.

    That might have been some important information to pass on to the mother. Sheesh.

    I am so glad it worked, and that she felt well enough to sleep. I hope it continues.

    Side note, my mom used to always say how do you like them apples. Brings back lots of childhood memories.

    Amanda was started on prevacid, he was thinking about zantac too.  maybe I should have gone for both instead of seeing how one went first.  But still she is much better in general.

    How long did it take for you guys to notice a difference on Prevacid? We are starting Prilosec (which I think is similar) and am wondering if it really takes the full two weeks to notice change?

    on the 3rd day she stopped waking up screaming at ngiht and eating better.  after 4 or 5 days she started sleeping better and being less cranky.   after a week we started to really see am improvemnet, BUT... she got her 4 month shots so now she's a crank pot again.
