A lot of mommies of boys say when they try again, they want a girl. Do mommies of girls want a boy next time around?

I'm torn. On the one hand, I'd like a little boy. But on the other hand, if I have a girl, they'll be sisters. And that's nice too. So actually I don't really care what I have. I didn't care last time either.

Honestly, I don't really care. Before I even got married I said I only wanted boys - I'm kind of a tomboy, I don't really get the girly stuff, my roommate and college taught me what to do with makeup - so I figured boys would just be easier for me. But after 2 losses, I just didn't care either way. And now that I have DD, it really doesn't matter to me what the next one is.

YES! I am really hoping for a boy. It would be nice for DH to have a little guy to bond with. Plus we love football, hockey, baseball. It would be so fun to have a boy. 2 girls would be too much drama.

I always thought that I wanted boys. Now that I have DD I can't imagine having a boy, lol! I do hope for a boy next, mainly b/c DH is the last boy in his family to carry on the family name. But if we had another girl, I'd be very happy.

I want a boy b/c my husband is DYING to have a little guy, and plus he's got 4 sisters, so he's the only one to carry on the family name. SO there's a lot of pressure to have a boy. BUT...i would to have two girls. If i had girl, boy, girl, that'd be great, but i think DH wants to stop after 2...

I didn't care what I had this last time, as long as it was a healthy baby. Now I've got one of each and we're good. They are soooooo different though, it's a weird balancing act because you kind of have to parent them a bit differently (at least I have to with my kids).

Well, I'm a mom of a boy, but I thought I'd answer as well because I was always one that said I didn't care what LO was b/c we were Team Green...and I knew (hopefully) we'd have more than 1 eventually...but secretly I think I leaned toward wanting a girl because I would like a daughter, and I figured if I got one first I really wouldn't care next time (or the time after that) and the rest could be boys and it wouldn't matter. I would look at families with only boys...like 3...or 4 boys and think man, I bet that'll happen to me and it's a little sad to think of never having a girl.

Fast forward to having my son, and my thoughts have COMPLETELY changed. I can't even fathom having a girl instead of him, and I am sooooooo thrilled with my guy!! I think if I found out I was pg tomorrow I would be over the moon to have another boy...I'd even take a couple more and I won't even mind if I never have a girl. I mean, if I do that's great too, and I'm sure I'd be just as thrilled, but I can barely picture myself with a little girl now.

I think it makes it easier to be Team Green in the future too, because I honestly would be 100% thrilled either way. I would love to experience having one of each, but at the same time I'd love another little guy because I want my LO to have a brother, and I would love to see how similar/different my 2 boys would be.

I actually was hoping for a boy last time, so I guess now I'm hoping for one or two boys this time (I'm hoping for twins), overall I'd like 2 girls and 2 boys, any order will be fine if I actually get them!

I secretly want 2 girls, 2 boys too....but I don't know if we'll go for a 4th. Ideally assuming we have 3 I think I want another boy then a girl.....or maybe a girl then another boy...hmmm, I don't know - I guess the order doesn't matter!

I used to want two boys. Now that I have Addy, i want another girl. I think it would be fun to have "sisters". That being said...I would like a boy too. I want three, DH wants two - so this may not work. lol.

I go back and forth. It would be nice for her to have a sister next time around and then maybe a boy. I guess it really wont matter but I just know what to do with a girl and I think itd be nice to have a little sister for her.

I'm torn as well. I would love to have a boy but my sister and I are really close and I would love for DD to have that kind of relationship in her life as well. Plus we would get more use out of all the stuff we have for DD. We have boatloads of clothes that she hardly wore.

I'd love to have a girl next time so Kate can have a sister close in age and have the last one be a boy....that is if we could choose...we will love whatever the Lord gives us!

I'm not going to lie - I wanted a boy and really thought that's what it was going to be. It would have been fun to have one of each. That being said, I am really excited that it's a girl because of how close they'll be in age. I think they'll be great friends.
