I wasn't really feeling it before but I damn sure have it this morning. I took an hour nap at my desk before everyone got in this morning, drank some water and now having some oatmeal. Ugh...hurry up u/s appt this morning.
I have it worse when I don't have food in my stomach. The hard part is nothing looks good. I also find that it is worse when I take my prenatal vitamin (no matter what time of day I take it) even with food so I have put off taking the vitamin because I just can't stomach it. I have my first u/s appt today so hopfully I can ask the doctor what other options I have.
Just started today with the M/S... I'm a little over 5 weeks preggers... I woke up completely nauseated, and vomited up ( i think ) all the bile in my stomach.. lol.
When I don't. My OB told me that M/S is usually caused by the emptying of your stomach, which is why eating more, smaller meals throughout the day can help with it. Even though the last thing I want to do is eat, I force myself. Last night I could tell I was starting to get sick just when DH brought home pizza. I ate half a slice, threw up, then proceeded to go back and finish dinner. DH just stared at me...hehe.
i havent actually started throwing up yet, i'm more generally nauseated and or motion sick feeling. i actually feel better when i'm hungry, but then if i get too hungry i feel sick. if i eat too fast, drink too much, or eat too much then i also feel sick. but at the same time, god help me if i dont get food when i'm hungry- i become a monster if i start to feel the belly growl! it's confusing!
When I don't. It wasn't easy to figure that out, though, because I was so nauseous and turned off by everything at first that I thought food was causing it.
Certain foods did make it worse, but I eventually found that eating a small portion of something bland (half a plain bagel, a few saltines, plain pasta w/ butter) definitely made it better. And I pretty much have to eat something every half hour to hour in order to keep it manageable.
My stomach is happiest when it's empty. Seems like the opposite to all of you! Trouble is I start to get really hungry, then I eat something and ugh...I promptly wish I hadn't.

This is me!! DH has learned if I say I'm hungry.. I better get food within minutes!! But after two bites... I'm stuffed and feel slightly sick again... oh fun times with m/s.

Me too. DH laughs, cause I go from "wow, nothing really looks that appetizing.. what do you want for dinner, honey" to "I'm HUNGRY!! FEED ME!!!" in minutes.
(And to answer OP's question, I get more m/s when I haven't eaten in a while.)
I feel it worse when my stomach is empty. But food sounds so gross right now, that I have a hard time snacking or eating at all. Sometimes when I force a meal, I feel horrible afterwards. It's just never ending this time around...

I had been fine prior to today though.
