Hi! I haven't been posting much...I really have little excuse as to why.
So I'm sorry.
Good luck to every one going through IVF, IUI, injections, ET's, etc. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
So I have been unemployed since 2008. At the time, it happened at a 'good' time for various reasons the main one was my mom was diagnosed with leukemia, oh, about 4 days after I was laid off (funny how the universe works sometimes) so I was able to devote most of my time to care for her. Then when she passed away in September I was able to take care of things that my brother couldn't because of his work and take care of her house to help him make it his house.
Well since about Feb/March I've been done with that and have been looking for a job. FINALLY this came up. It's not a big deal job. It's for a local school district and it's not permanent (though it could become permanent) but it's some thing to keep me busy and bring in some extra cash for me (the unemployment has not been a hardship for us financially so this will be spend cash for me). It's an easy job which is good for when I get pregnant again (and it better stick); no stress!!
I'm excited!
Re: I got a job!
Thanks!
Thats such great news. Jobs are not easy to come by these days and it sounds like the timing has been good for you.
I'm really sorry about your mom.
Woo hoo about the job! I'm sorry about your Mom although it is very funny how the universe arranged it.
Enjoy the extra cash.
Good Luck & Congrats Chicken! I remember your story (especially since it is close to mine, laid off, MIL w/ cancer 09 was a bad year) I recently got a PT job as a receptionist, I like the stress free part of it.

Congrats on the job! I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I also lost my mom to AML in 97. Hang in there because the first year is the hardest and although it never gets easier, it has hit me at times when I least expect it. It was very hard to get married and I am hoping that having a child will be an emotion ride as well!
Feel free to talk to me about it anytime! I was 23 at the time but I DO believe that timing is everything. My mom passed away on Sept 13 and my sister met a widow, who she has been married to for 8 years and his daughter was born on Sept 12....I think there are signs everywhere that your mom is still around!
Congrats on the job-I am in education too!
