I got it for my kindergartners, but part of me wants to cram it in a hope chest.

    That is too adorable!

    I loved my play kitchen. Santa brought it. And a new tutu. Best Christmas EVER!

    that's so cute, I totally loved my play kitchen.

    You'd never know it now b/c I hate cooking as an adult.

    How cute!!!  My dad build me a mini version of my mom's kitchen.  Too bad it burned up in a fire when I was in middle school.  I wanted my kids to have it.

    and while I was going to ask for the link of where you got it, I should probably refrain before I buy it.

    I love that! I have always wanted to get our future children a play kitchen because I loved mine growing up. Think dh will get it for me for christmas?

    Thank yall!  I'm pleased with it.

    It's the Melissa and Doug "Corner Kitchen."  It was on sale at Toys R Us.  They had a plastic one for the same price with more bells and whistles, but I really need something sturdy! 

    I just got done putting it together and there's supposed to be a screwhole in this one spot and there's not.  That's my only complaint.  I could call them and have them ship me a replacement piece, but I'm going to see what DH can do with it.

    ETA:  It is all wood except for maybe the back piece, and I don't think it's particle board.  It seems sturdy.

    I love it!  My grandma had a play kitchen and I spent lots of time with it.  I have some of the play dishes still.
