Success after IF

First tri is kicking my butt

Between the exhaustion (I am tired All. The. Time.), the nausea (currently on Zofran), and the constipation, I am a hot mess.  Not to mention that I spend my days running after a 19 month old (and I feel so guilty that I am being a "bad mommy" since I can't due half of what I used to with her because of the already mentioned symptoms).  Please don't misunderstand me--I love knowing that a baby is growing in my belly, but damn is it hard work.

I feel really fortunate that I am on summer vacation and that school doesn't start back up until the last week of August, but I am so worried about how I am going to function working full time, being a mom, being a wife, being the full time cook/cleaner/errand runner, etc. AND feeling like this while pregnant.  I just pray that some of the not-so-great side effects of pg give way to the good ones (kicks, cute baby bump, etc.) soon!

It's good to know I'm not alone!  Here's hoping we both feel better soon...

I bet this will be the case!  I'm sure it'll still be hard, but not quite as bad as the 1st tri.  Hang in there!

  • Between 1st tri stuff and OHSS my asss has been seriously kicked over the last few weeks. When I had severe m/s and diarrhea (sorry if  TMI) at the same time yesterday, I lost it and called my acupuncturist crying. I haven't had acupuncture since transfer. He fit me right in and today I feel like a whole new person. Seriously, it's awesome. The relief was instantaneous. I haven't felt this good since right after ER over 6 weeks ago.

    I highly recommend it.
