Vent: Guilted into something

I'm really getting mad at someone for guilting me into a corner.  I feel like I'm being pushed toward a purchase and I'm getting the impression there's resentment on the other end if I don't.

There's a valid reason why I don't often buy myself treats and when I do they are clearance items or with a coupon or GC.  There's a valid reason why I scour craigslist for things my family needs.  Sure the thrill of a good deal is exciting, but if I had a choice I wouldn't be doing it.

I want to be supportive, but I'm about to snap.  I'm sure this person is only seeing a skewed viewpoint of my excuses because of several recent events that on the surface may seem like we could spare a few, but in reality, those things were planned out far in advance with careful budgeting.

    I've tried sharing the information, but no one else is biting, which is why they keep pecking at me trying for a glimmer of hope.

    I think for now the point has been taken, but I'm really upset by it.
