I just wanted to thank you all for your responses. Knowing that it wasn't just hard for me has been comforting -- much, much more than I expected.
Usually I don't take a lot of joy in knowing that something that's difficult for me is also difficult for others but in this case I'm glad I'm not a total freak of nature for being so stressed out about this.
Also, you guys gave me some guidelines on how to narrow down the playing field -- that was REALLY helpful!
I'm pretty sure you all will be seeing a name poll in a few days, mwahaha. ![]()

He shot down ALL of them?
Here's a typical convo with my own husband:
me: "What do you think of Justin?"
B: "Only if his middle name is Thyme."
Dude needs a smackin'.

well he never took his eyes off playing angry birds and just said No, No to most names. We sort of agreed on one, but then today i met a lady and it was her DOGS name. I hate that.
all im saying is you sign the birth certificate. If he wants to be so freaking difficult!
That's sort of how it played out with K, to an extent, although I did change her middle name to something he wanted more that didn't offend me.
One of our dogs is named Ash and it makes me sad that I probably shouldn't name Sprout that, too. :P

That's pretty funny actually. So sorry though. Why do the husbands get a say, I mean we are the ones that do all the work making the baby, and then birthing the baby, and then BFing the baby ( maybe) and THEY always have so many dang opinions.
