I have a WTF with my RE tomorrow about my genetic test results (NORMAL) and protocol changes as we move forward to FET #2 and after that IVF #2. What protocol did your RE have you on and which protocol does your RE think is the best for PCOS patients in regards to getting the best quality eggs?
1. Antagonist
2. Long Lupron
3. Microdose Lupron Flare
Re: XP IVF PCOS girls pls come in
I did antagonist for my IVF. I am not sure if he does this with all his PCOS patients, but I do know that he does Lupron with other patients, so maybe it was because of my PCOS.
Good luck, you deserve some success.

i did antagonist for both IVF cycles and got 27 and 25 eggs respectively. i think they were good quality both times, but our issue was MFI, which negatively affected our fert rates.
GL!
IVF #1 1/10-transfered 2 blasts- DS born 10/2010
March 2015- Chemical pg
1/25/16- BFP Beta1 12dpo = 17, Beta 2 14 dpo = 28.. resulted in one beautiful boy born 9/21/16
Now I'm a stay at home loving life and pursuing my love of photography!!!
Well...I did all three! Surprisingly, Long Lupron was the winner for me. All three cycles I did 5dt, but the quality was the best on cycle #3, which wasn't the best "on paper." Good luck!
IVF 1 (antagonist) 12 eggs, 7 fert, 5dt 2 blasts, c/p
IVF 2 (Microdose Lupron) 20 eggs, 10 fert, 5dt 1 early blast, 1 mourela
IVF 3 (Long Lupron) 7 eggs, 7 fert, 5dt 2 blasts
Ah hon, I'm so sorry those tests came back normal. I know how hard it is to want something, ANYTHING to be wrong, so you can blame. I wish you luck moving forward. this is hard stuff.
(sorry don't know about PCOS protocols)
