E&R Mommy - FFN test??

I had the FFN test last night, and despite everything telling me it was supposed to be "quick and painless" - it was very painFUL and they kept the swab on my cervix for 20 seconds - which is not as quick as a pap.  Ever since, I've been having insane amounts of burning when I pee - worse than a UTI - and it will burn for about 20 minutes afterwards until I have to pee again.  The nurse said it would be normal for me to spot (I am) and for there to be some discomfort during urination - how long is this supposed to last??  

(FFN came back negative, FWIW.  Yay!)

    I had the same test and it burned for about a day after.  I was very uncomfortable.  And whoever told you it'd be painless lied to you.  My nurse kept apologizing the whole time because she knew how much it was hurting me.

    I've heard patients say about the same - a day or two.  If it doesn't get better I'd give your doc a call.  I'm so sorry it hurts that bad.  :(  Yay that it was negative.....but super boo that it's causing you so much pain.

    Thanks - still uncomfortable, but its getting bearable.  I'm not gripping my counter every time I pee anymore.

    I figured I'd get one more question in before you graduate to PAL tomorrow!!!
