We've got one more week of vacation after this and we'd love to see some of our farther-away nestie pals one more time before school starts.

Anyone interested? If so, post which day next week works best for you, and majority rules!! Also post what you'd rather do- Jelly Belly or Nut Tree.

Nut tree has rides, merry go round, train, etc. It's all re-done, I haven't been but my parents have taken Alex and it was a hit.

Basically if it's nice weather Nut Tree would be great, if it's steaming Vacaville triple digits JB would be the way to go, IMO.

Hmmm, off to check the 10 day forecast...

This is an excellent point! And I've never been either. let's see who chimes in in the morning and I'll make a call, but think JBF would be fun, free, and easier to contain my very fast almost 4 year old in!

Just an FYI - the hubs and I did the JBF tour a couple months ago and it's cool but... well, we decided it might be over Will's head and he might be a bit bored. But it's not too long and they did give out a couple samples along the way.

You basically watch a bunch of videos of the history, how they are made, etc. Don't get me wrong, it's very cool to see (esp. for an operations geek like myself), but the little guys might lose interest.

I've heard that the videos are on the weekend when the real factory isn't running, that going during the week is better cause the factory is really going. Did you go on the weekend?

I'm so sad I can't make it to this one Crying You guys are in my neck of the woods, but I work until 6 during the week.
