When college football goes to far!!!

A friend of mine is a BIG Longhorn fan (So am I) & she is also half way thru her pregnancy.  Last month she went for her monthly check-up and found out her doctor is a BIG A&M fan.  She was soo disturbed by this that she has been busting her ass trying to find a good doctor that went to UT.  She finally found one & got an appointment (She has been having trouble switching doctors) so now she is all excited!

I like college football in all but damn I would not of went through all that just because she was an A&M fan.

Would anyone else do this?? or think this is a bit nuts?

    What was she afraid the Dr. would drop her baby because he knew she was a Longhorn fan? This is a bit redic.

    That is insanity!

    I lived in Houston for a few years, and had plenty of friends that were hardcore on one side or the other, but I don't think any of them would take it that far. haha.

    That's definitely over the top... I live in Alabama-- so we have the Auburn/Bama conflict, but I don't associate team loyalty with the quality of my medical professionals...

    It's something that is taken very seriously down here.  I will admit we don't have many friends in our circle that are A&M fans.  One of friends was a hardcore A&M fan & all he did was talk sh*t about UT- Needless to say he doesn't come around anymore.  But I wouldn't change doctors just for that.

    This.  DH and I are big college football fans, but I would never change doctors if the doctor went to the "other" school.

    Wow! That is pretty crazy...

    My DF and I are huge Seminole fans, my DF even had Seminole scrubs... my OB was a huge Gator fan... when he delivered our DS he was in his Gator scrubs lol!

    I soo wanted a picture of my DF and my OB wearing their opposing scrubs but unfortunately my OB had to leave quickly to do an emergency c-section. 

    Wife. Boy mom x6. Expecting #7. Wannabe homesteader.

    Um...aggie fan here.  Even if my dr was a die hard UT fan and his office was burnt orange, as long as he was a good dr, I wouldn't be changing.
