Depends on the brand of liner and your washer, but the general answer is it's definitely possible. Try one as a test to make sure it doesn't shred and if it works then you're good to go!

Son of a biscuit! I thought I had to be reading that wrong and you all meant fleece liners or something!
I use Imse Vimse ones.
Two more questions:
Sometimes they get all balled up in her diaper though too... will they smooth out after washing?
The IV ones you can just wash. I've never had any trouble just putting them in the dryer.
Thanks! So you just put them in w/ your diapers and voila?
Yup wash and dry with your diapers. They'll shrink down a bit and eventually wear through enough to be unusable (though most of ours get pooped in before that point), but they'll last at least a couple of washes.
I just the IV ones... I was marking them in the begining just to see how long they'd last..... I've gotten 6+ washes out of some of them! I throw them in the wash with the diapers but I don't put them in the dryer. When DD's poop is very solid and just falls off the liner, I was those too, not just the pee ones.
I can wash and dry these?? Craziness! I am sooo trying this now- We started using them for creams and then DH fell in love with them because we never have to go rinse poopy diapers anymore, just scoop the poop and flush- I appreciate the no stains on my diapers part too
What the others said about IV ones going through several washes. I rarely toss one for winning the no-poo lottery and having so many pees that it comes out with holes.
But I'm chiming in because: Am I the only one who had a $800 sewer service bill for backing up our system (in our 80+ year old house) for flushing the liners? Vile sewage all over the basement. I still use them, I just don't flush them. We have a Diaper Dekor, and if we can't plop the poo off the liner, the liner goes, poo and all, into the DD. FTR, all pood on liners go in the DD, too. We only wash the pee ones.

I've heard of others having issues. We have an old home, but a new main line so no problems.
Anyone know if the Bummies brand would work in the washer as well??
They do for me though they don't go through as many washes as Imse Vimse or Bambino Mio. However I've heard from others that they just break apart so it seems like it depends on the washing machine (we have a frontloading HE).
The one time that we bought bummies liners it was a nightmare. We kept forgetting and one or two would make it into the wash and they would shred up like confetti. Drove. Me. Nuts. It would be all stuck in the aplix and everything. Grrrrr.

Please don't actually flush them! Think about it - if you can wash them a few times, they don't decompose very easily. Which means they won't decompose in your sewer system easily either. That might mean in your pipes (and your repair bill), or it may mean costly repairs to your city/town. Either way, flushable liners (and wipes and anything else besides toilet paper) should not go down the toilet! Rant over.

and can they go in the dryer or just sun them?

Sorry I am so astounded by this and kinda mad I didn't know this before! hahaha
Yup, I've washed and dried them (though Kushies brand) with no issues.
Though I find liners annoying, and only use them for cream purposes now, so I pretty much always flush them.
