Hey girls! I miss you all and this board so much!! I haven't been around much between the bizillions of error messages and the busyness of life, but I'm trying my best to keep tabs on you all (even though 1/2 the time the bump won't let me respond). For the sake of some emotional therapy for me, I have to get some things off my chest. Here goes:
- Jake is turning 1. ONE. I can't even believe it....I'm flip flopping between being super sad, super excited and super amazed at how fast this year has gone by. Overall it's been AMAZING (with some newborn rough patches in the beginning) and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I love this kid more than I love myself and I'm thankful each and every day for him. Did I mention he's turning 1?!?
- I'm a hormonal mess. I mean- a complete cry baby at all times lately. I'm almost certain its from starting to wean Jake from nursing- but holy cow! I didn't think I'd be this weepy.
- I reached my goal of nursing for a year! Sorry to be a total AW, but I'm so proud of Jake and I. It was a goal I set for myself and wanted to give up on many times in the beginning- from cracked and bleeding nipples to painful thrush..it's been an interesting journey. I'm glad I stuck it out and was even able to donate my milk to a milk bank

So that's about all that's going on here- I'm a drying up, weepy mom of an (ALMOST!!) toddler- and I couldn't be happier about it!
Thanks for letting me share...and for taking this journey with me from TTTC to pregnancy to Jake's first year and now beyond. I'm so thankful for the love and support.
I'm going to go cry now

Sweet! So glad you reached your goal, that is awesome!
The first year flew by for me too. I look at her every day and I just can't believe how big she is getting. It's so bittersweet!
Thanks! That's sweet.
