Maybe going home?!?!
So after 83 days in the NICU/SCN, we are hoping to take LO home tomorrow morning! Because he's a slow eater, they have asked me to stay at the hospital for 24 hours, in a room they have for just such a purpose. They will wake me up for all of his feedings, and I will be 100% in charge of his care and feedings. If all goes well, and he feeds well, and he gains weight, he should be discharged tomorrow morning.
It would be wonderful to finially get him home!

83 days is a long time to manage the NICU/SCN situation but it's also a wonderful opportunity to learn about how to care for your little guy from the experts. At least it was for me. It may not seem like it now, but it may be a blessing in disguise. But it will be an even bigger blessing when you're all under one roof.
