Planes: how much baby food??

Is there a limit to how much jarred baby food we can bring in our carry ons? I'm reading the TSA website and not getting a straight answer. I have those stage 3, 6 oz jars - can I take them on as is?

Re: Planes: how much baby food??

  • yes, you can take that on no problem. They say you can take along as much liquids for baby as you might need for the flight/travel. But I don't even know that baby purees would count as liquid??

  • You can bring as much as you need for the flight... and that is determined by the TSA official who searches your bag.

I took a 5 hour flight and brought about 4 containers of food.  I def didn't need all of that, just wanted to make sure we were prepared in case of a spill or delay.
