I'd love to get in contact with some in-home daycares since they are so much more affordable than the child care center we currently plan to use. Having worked in a center myself for a couple of years, I always thought that's the way we'd go, but I don't want to pay more than necessary if there's an in home option that meets our needs. It's important to me that the primary caregiver has a degree in early childhood education (or something similar), that we can drop off as early as 6:30 a.m., and that they're located in or near Livonia. Any recommendations?
Re: In home daycares
I am looking for the same exact thing. We are going to start visiting daycare's next month. Let me know when or if you have found any you like or dislike yet?

I use an at home center in Livonia, but I don't think she has room for two under the age of 18 months right now.
As for centers -> they are just way too expensive. We looked a Learning Tree North and it would cost use $247 a week for full time until our youngest is 2-1/2!! We are leaning towards moving them both there once she is that age for the more structured learning environment.
