Do you "know" you are not pg at some point in your cycle?
I know it sounds a little crazy since I've never had a BFP....but I feel like my body follows a pattern in all of my treatment cycles, and around 9dpo I can just "tell" I am not pregnant.
6dp3dt and I really don't feel pregnant. Whatever that feels like. And I bet my progesterone will be low when I go in for bloodwork tomorrow, and the RE will increase my PIO.
I don't *want* to be negative, and it is probably me just protecting myself from hoping too much...sigh.
Do you have a day like this in your cycle that you typically have a melt down?

Right around the same time you are feeling it. I think it's way to early to tell, but I've always "felt" that it didn't work. Maybe it's just our way of protecting ourselves because we are so used to the negatives.

For my IVF cycle it was the day before my beta - I just "knew" it was going to be negative. Maybe it was also my way of trying to protect myself.
It was of no use - I was completely miserable when I got my BFN. Being upset ahead of time didn't make it any easier.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Started TTC 05.08
Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH
DH: perfect
1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!
1 FET in Aug 2013 = BFP!
I always spot two days before AF.... always! With IVFs and all. So that's when it starts to set in.
I'm keeping everything crossed for you!!!!! I really hope you get good news with this one!!!!!!

It never really set in for me...I tried to be so hopeful. I POAS for three days before my beta...all were negative...so I was not surprised at all when my beta was negative.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you that this is it. Hang in there!

I usually start spotting really early, too (around 3dpo). However, I don't spot during medicated cycles....do you?

((hugs)) The 2ww is a mind fvck. I found that, especially during IVF 2wws, I would go back and forth between being convinced that I was not pregnant, to convinced I was KU. I think 90% of it is mental.
I will say that of my 4 pregnancies, at least 2 of them I was convinced I was not PG and just waiting on AF to show up.

Yes. My boobs stop hurting around 10dpo, whether I am on progesterone or not. I don't even POAS, because when they stop hurting, I know it is over.

That's the same for me, too. Boobs are sore until 9dpo and then nada....and today is 9dp....hence the post.

No, I didn't spot on clomid. However, my luteal phase wasn't any longer either (which is why I was on it to begin with!) Next time we're going to add progesterone supplements to the clomid. I'm on a break from medicated cycles right now as we are waiting for DH's SA numbers to go back up. So, I am back in the land of spotting...it's driving me crazy.

I have read that the medication "boosts" ovulation, which then leads to the rutpured follicle producing more progesterone.
For IVF where you don't "ovulate," they put me on progesterone in the LP which makes it go away.

FWIW, this cycle I "knew" that I wasn't pregnant at 10dp3dt. I was even spotting. So I POAS just to know for sure it was all over. Boy was I surprised to see a BFP. So I guess what I am trying to say is that the 2ww is such a mind f**k that I wouldn't put too much stock in that feeling.

Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
I wanted to say the same thing as Dragonfly. This was my third IUI and I started testing at 11dpiui and had all negatives up to 16dpiui. I was positive that I was not pregnant as I felt the exact same as I did with all of my other BFN cycles. The only reason I tested again at 16dpiui was I threw up the night before out of no where.
