Clomid and cycle day question

I successfully got pregnant with #1 on Clomid. I was supposed to start on ita gain in August, but I started spotting 3 days ago. It was just spotting and then a day of bleeding and now just brown clots. I'm confused as to if this was my period or not and if I should start Clomid on CD5 like I'm supposed to. I, of course, will call my RE, I just wanted to know if anyone else had this experience.

    are you being monitored?   if so, they should be able to tell on your CD3 appointment if your lining and hormones are at a baseline level.    so I'd go in for bloodwork and u/s as if it were a period, and then decide what to do.
