Questions from a 3TC gal

1.  When going through the whole IF treatment process, did you ever get a 2nd opinion from another RE?  If you did, did you end up switching?

2.  If you got pregnant using injections, what dose were you started out at and at what point in your cycle did you trigger?

 

Thanks for your help...Just trying to figure some stuff out.

It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm!

    I only "needed" one RE office (one was my "main" RE, but I ended up seeing the other for most of my monitoring appts and u/s after pregnancy was achieved), but we went straight to IVF w/ICSI due to MFI issues.  I could've done IUI if I really wanted to (did one IUI w/ OB), but we wanted to immediately improve our odds.

    I just wanted to put in a "plug" for my awesome RE's at RMA of Michigan.  We ended up there to begin with because they have shared risk, but I had a wonderful experience there with the two RE's and outstanding nurses.  I highly recommend them, and I don't ever hear of anyone else on here using them, so I always like to put in a good word. :)

    Thanks for your response.  RMA is where I go and I'm glad to hear of a positive review.  Most of the ones I've heard lately have been anything but positive.  My review at this point is mixed.
