Any advice for kiddo w/cramps?

Poor Sean...not too sure what is going on with him, but I suspect he's got abdominal cramps. He will sit still for awhile then just wiggling around. He has no fever and had said earlier this morning that his bottom hurt. And to be honest, the kid hasn't ever had constipation issues so I'm not too sure what to look for on that. 

Any advice? tips?

    I would check on a few things:

    1. is he constipated/gassy? that could contribute to cramps.

    2. how long has this been going on? If more than 1-2 days and they're getting worse, take him to the pedi for a further evaluation.

    I would suggest warm milk (provided he's not dairy intolerant) to at least help with item #1.

    He hasn't been gassy and this just started this morning. I'm beginning to suspect an UTI since I think he is in discomfort when he pees. We have an appt this afternoon and hopefully we'll know more. :(
