Carrier

I want to buy a new carrier for my next LO.  I had a Maya wrap and a cheap soft structured carrier.  My ds didn't like the wrap, and the soft structured carrier hurt my back.  I preferred the carrier because it was so easy/quick to put on.  I'm thinking about buying an ergo, but I'm concerned that I won't be able to use it early on.  Has anybody had success with it when using it with a newborn?  Are there any other soft structured carriers that work better?

    We love our Ergo and have used it since Anayah was 3 months old, and we still do!

    I like that my husband can wear it as well with some quick adjustments.  It also easy to pack for trips, etc.  

    Have you tried a mei tai?

    I have looked at some mei tais online.  Do they work well for newborns?
