To Those That Have a Nanny

Do you call during the day to check on your baby(s)?

Just wondering, I feel like you wouldnt normally call a day care through out the day to check on your kids, so is it the same with your nanny at home? Do you call?

Re: To Those That Have a Nanny

  • I don't have a Nanny, but I wanted to let you know that I have called the daycare to check on T on occassion.  Mainly on days when I know he wasn't feeling great - or in the beginning when I wasn't use to leaving him.  They actually encourage it, if it makes the parents feel better.

So, I think it is fine to call the Nanny, if it would make you feel better.

  • We have a nanny through the summer and I do call.  I call at lunch just to check in and see how things are going and then I also call on my way home.
