LOTS of words at 18 months!!

Claire went with DH to see his parents last night, so I sat down and made a list of all of the words that she can say.  At nearly 18 months, I had 76!!  And some are little sentences, like "I sit."  The other day, she couldn't find the "meow," and said, "I see (shaking her head no)" as in I don't see the cat.  My favorite is "Help Mommy!  Help Mommy!" when she needs something.  I just can't believe how quickly her vocabulary has expanded!

    I notices a HUGE jump in voc from 18m to 2years in Ella its pretty awesome isn't it?  I love that they can talk to me now!!! =)

    That is sooooooo awesome!! Go Claire!!!

    I haven't made a list yet. Are Claire's words crystal clear? I ask because I have trouble deciding if what sounds like a word or sentence counts as words...kwim???

    For example: Bella says "Oo dere" which I know means "over there" but I don't think I can count that as words exactly....

    Anywho..we have our 18month appt. coming soon so we will see....

    That's great!  Nicholas is 16 months and I am still waiting for any words.  I know he gets frustrated that he can't communicate, so he tends to throw a fit sometimes.
