We are behind, I know. But...in my defense, G has (maybe had, we're introducing slowly and so far so good) a milk protein allergy so I wanted to go slow on introducing milk.
I forsee myself trying to replace a bottle feeding with a meal feeding and a sippy with milk in it-- but keeping the am and pm bottles in place for a little longer, is that a decent plan or should I try something else??

If you're behind, then so am I. Andrew is 14 months old and still takes all his milk from bottles. I've tried and failed to make the switch to sippies twice -- both times I gave in by the end of the second day, freaked out because he'd hardly had any milk.
I guess I should try again soon...
I was not one that was all, NO BOTTLES AFTER 1 YEAR.
And I am glad.
Ethan dropped bottles slowly. By 13 months, he had 1 at bedtime, 1 in the morning, By 17 months, just morning, at about 18 months, he wanted a sippy. For a few months, I asked him, sippy or bottle. He was about 60/40 sippy. Occasionally a bottle made him happier, if he was upset or sick, but by 19 months, he was over it. NO stress, no unhappy mom, no unhappy baby.
