I was looking at the wall decals for a cute growth chart for Emmalee's room when she moves to her "big girl room" next year. I was showing them to DH and there was a really cute one for $45. He said, "OMG! Too expensive! Don't pay more than $10 for one." I almost laughed. He really doesn't understand how expensive kids are, or how expensive my taste is. I don't want to just put notches on a door frame. hehehe

I got a piece of molding, and painted it for a growth chart for next to nothing.

Yes kids are expensive, but a 45$ growth chart isn't exactly a must have.

I got one from this seller for less than $20. No, it isn't a vinyl decal, but it is still very cute and she has a bunch of designs and is willing to personalize it for you. Plus, if by chance you move, it is easily portable.

Oh, I have no intention of spending $45 on a growth chart. I would rather spend that money on clothes for E. I just think it is funny that he has no idea on the costs of everything. I will probably just buy some wood and have my BFF paint a cute picture on it with the measurements.
