I love the name Amelia, so I put that into www.nymbler.com and it came up with some interesting names. Here are a few of the gems:
Boys: Bertram, Adolf (yes, as in Hitler), Armand, Crispin, Tad, Cato, Cicero, Noble, Godfrey, Penna, Faber, Abelard, Jolyon, Alaric, Bubba
Girls: Flavia, Petula, Lucretia, Christabel, Axelle, Verity, Verna, Ormanda, Armine, Vilma
This is just on the first half donzen pages. I found all these very odd, they are in no way the same style as Amelia to me. Just thought I would share these interesting names :-)
Re: Bertram? Abelard?
I was going to suggest that. If I put in Amalia or Lorelei I get those names too.
Hahaha...wow, these are definitely not in the top 1000...Cicero (pop, six, squish, cicero, lipshitz), and Armand reminds me of the Bird Cage...wow, yeah these are interesting.
I met anItalian woman named Lucretia. Petula...like petulant? Wait, I know...if your last name starts with a T, then give her a middle name with an N...Petula N T

I really like Bertram, Armand, Noble and Godfrey. I don't like Amelia but I agree, it doesn't fit with these names.
Adolf is a strange one...
