Mine? Multiple posts about the same topic in the span of one day. Ugh! (with the exception of team pink/blue posts- I enjoy those- even though we've been slaughtered with them lately)!

We have had a lot lately but I think everyone deserves to have their moment to shine and make their big annoucement.
My pet peeve is the multiple pre anatomy scan annoucements. I think it is pointless to announce that you are going and then come home and annouce that you went and tell the sex. Just wait until after the appointment and make one big post. I understand the anticipation, I am anxious too, but it can be a bit much.

Haha- yeah! I'm guilty of this one. ( But yeah- it's overwhelming at times!

Well, I'm semi-new here so maybe it's me BUT it bugs me when people ask for opinions and then get really mad when they get opinions that aren't what they were looking for. I mean, why don't they just say "please tell me x because that's what I'd like to hear." lol I know, it's a silly thing.
I'm ok with someone calling out another person, but some of the threads (esp on other boards) go too far. Some people need to let dead horses die and not keep kicking them.
I am sure others would agree with me, but the weight posts (I'm talking 2nd tri board) get on my last nerve. I have gained more weight than I would like to admit and I am really struggling with it right now. It just makes me feel down in the dumps, so I don't even read those posts anymore. However, I can't imagine what it must be like to be one of you ladies that are having difficulties keeping on the weight. I want it to be clear I am not slamming you guys at all.

Ha! I always want to answer a HUGE amount. I hear ya on the overkill weight posts. I mean, aren't we going through enough without comparing our weights too?? sheesh.
posts that say "did you see the drama on such and such board" ... it's like.. I know sometimes people are idiots who deserve to get ganged up on.. and if you want to start/participate in/read for entertainment internet drama than by all means do it.. but to then make posts on other boards pointing everyone in the direction of MUD just seems so totally pointless and immature to me.
ETA: I also HATE the term puppies and rainbows. it's just grown people treating each other with respect most of the time.

I agree with this, what's so wrong with being nice to each other? Some people are seriously disgusted by it and make fun.
My pet peeve is all the stupid acronyms. Is it really that hard to type out husband? Do people actually refer to him as "dear husband" in real life? Most of us are sitting at a computer with a full keyboard, right?

This is a common complaint on TB. Don't ask if you don't want to hear! But, on the other hand, people can get rather vicious with their opinions. It's all a delicate balance!

hehehe yeah the acronyms become a habit sooo fast! but I agree that they are pretty much entirely unnecessary and basically only serve to make newbies feel like newbies

And (this may be hugely unpopular), people who register in their first tri or barely into the second tri and then stress about it then proceed to make multiple posts about registering dilemas when they are 13 weeks. At least wait until you know the sex or have the anatomy u/s (I don't mind people that know at 13, 14 weeks and go register), but come on. You can wait a few more weeks.
I don't really have pet peeves on this board, but on TTGP and other boards people could be downright nasty for NO REASON. Basically total slamming of the newbies and the full out requirement that people "lurk" before posting. Who cares? There are nice ways to give advice to people who are "doing it wrong" on the bump. Likewise/relatedly, I hate it when 10 people give the same advice in a row off of one post, especially if it's done in a bitchy way (e.g. "DON'T ever again use the word 'prego' here! Everyone hates it and it makes you sound incredibly stupid!" <- not a knock on people who hate that word--I do too--but a knock on someone who is the 12th person to write a message like that to a newbie.) But again, that stuff never happens on this board.
On this board I think it's lame when people rate posts, especially when they rate them low...but I also don't really notice that often or care. So not a big pet peeve.
I have 2: multiple tickers for the same event and signatures that are a mile and a half long. I'm IF too and have a brief synopsis of my history in my sig, and I'm sorry clomid cycles 1-200 didn't work for you, but do they each need their own line?

My Bump Pet Peeve? Here goes. When someone learns how to do a clicky poll and then goes a little overboard with them. It makes me wonder if they are just trying to up their posts for points and status.

I haven't seen it on this board, but other boards complain about the "post and run." Really? If someone new pops in to ask a question, than goes on with her life before checking in for responses, I have no problem with that. I understand that people will want to ask questions to clarify, but I think it's unreasonable to ask someone to stick by a computer for awhile - some of us don't have the Bump at work!
That's one of the things I like about December Moms - I see many posts where people post, and reply much later. It's nice to have that luxury.

ITA. When some unsuspecting newbie makes a post with the word "prego" in the subject line, I'll often open it just to see how long it takes some sweetheart to post that same tired picture of a jar of spaghetti sauce.
