Those who have 15+lb babies and are only on formula...

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months
How much does your baby weigh and how much are they eating per feeding? DS weighs (3 mos old) 15 lbs, few oz and has been eating 6 oz every 2-3 hrs. He's been still acting hungry when he's done with the bottle so tonight we tried an 8 oz bottle and he guzzled it down and seemed happy/full afterwards. Just curious where everyone else was at?

    DS is approaching 15 lbs now and he eats 4 oz (with a tablespoon of rice cereal for AR) every three hours like clockwork.

    DS is approx 15 lbs (according to our home scale) at 13 weeks. We've been feeding him 8 oz. about every 6 hours with a little rice cereal. He was a big baby and without the cereal, he would just be so miserably hungry all the time.

    whoa - your 4 month old goes 6 hours between feeds?  Really?

    Addie is 5 months and 16 lbs 4oz. She eats 6 oz every 5 hours. But at night she eats 6oz with 2 scoops of barley cereal because she does most of her spitting up at night and it helps her keep it down. She had a small reaction to rice cereal so we switched.

    EDIT ADDING:

    And she sleeps 10-12 hours at night.

    Lily is 5 months and weighs 20lbs.

    She eats 4-5 oz every 3 hours.

    DS is 19.8 pds and eats 6oz every 2 (sometimes 3) hours.

    My lo is 17lbs 9oz and eats 6oz every 3-4 hours, normally 4 hours. Except at night he eats 6oz before bed at 6:30 and then sleeps straight through until 6:30.

    DS is between 15 and 16 pounds.  He eats six 5-ounce bottles and one 4-ounce bottle every day.  He's not on any solids yet.

    DS was 16.9 lbs 2 weeks ago, and he eats 6 oz. every 3-3 1/2 hours.  He is also eating 2T of cereal twice a day with a 1/2 container of fruit or veggie at each sitting. 

    I don't know if my ticker is working, but he is almost 5 months.

    DS is 5 months and 15.5 pounds.  He eats six 6 ounce bottles per day.  He generally eats about every 3-4 hours during the day and then has one feeding overnight.
