Which girls name?

I am due on August 28, and just can't seem to pick. My name is Marcia, my husband is Thomas nn Tom, and our son is Jacob nn Jake, he is three.

  1. Lucy Elizabeth
  2. Gretchen Marie
  3. Rachel Elizabeth
  4. Catherine Marie
  5. Abigail Elizabeth

My mother's name is Marie and my mother- in- law's name is Elizabeth.

    We have a Jacob too, and Lucy and Abigail are both on my girl list, so I love those! While I love Greta, I am not a fan of Gretchen. Rachel and Catherine are just okay to me (know lots of them).

    I like Lucy and Rachel, with Elizabeth (as long as you like your MIL!  I would never name a kid after mine...)  :)

    I like them in this order:

    Abigail Elizabeth

    Catherine Marie

    Lucy Elizabeth

    Gretchen Marie

    Rachel Elizabeth

    Weirdly enough, Gretchen has been growing on me... I still don't think it will ever make my list, but I used to hate it and now I kind of like it!

    That said, Gretchen is my second choice. Lucy is my first! I adore Lucy. Rachel, Catherine, and Abigail are all nice... just a little boring for me.

    I think they're all pretty nice, and the middle names seem pretty interchangeable to me. I would probably cross Rachel off the list though. I met a pretty awesome Gretchen, so my knee-jerk reaction is to vote for that one, but I do also like Abigail, Catherine and Lucy...I can definitely see the dilemma.

    I like them in this order:

    Gretchen Marie

    Lucy Elizabeth

    Catherine Marie

    Abigail Elizabeth

    and Rachel Elizabeth (I don't really like the name Rachel).

    I like Gretchen most because it's the least popular of the names.

    Abigail would be my first choice, Lucy would be my second. I also really like Rachel.

    All of these are great, classic names and you really can't go wrong with any of them.  I like them in this order:

    1. Rachel Elizabeth (Rachel is on my list, too!)

    2. Lucy Elizabeth

    3. Catherine Marie

    4. Abigail Elizabeth

    5. Gretchen Marie (I'm a little less wild about the sound of "Gretchen.")

    I like Lucy and Abigail best. I think Rachel is too common, Catherine is alright, and Gretchen is nms.

    I love all but # 2 Gretchen.

    If I had to rank them, Lucy - Abigail - Catherine - Rachel - Gretchen
