Best Conversation of this past weekend...

Rushing off to an emergency C section.... Dad to be (DTB) and Grandma to be (GTB) who are going to be in there with her are trying to quickly suit up in their scrub outfits while pregnant Mom to Be is wheeled away.

*Picking up and looking at at a thick white plastic round tube with a purple top in a plastic bag*
GTB: What is this? Oxygen? I think I need it.

DTB: No, mom... That's a razor for her hoo ha.

Me: *ROTFL*

It should also be noted that when GTB got the phone call that the mama to be's water broke, she backed out of her garage with the garage door still closed. In the heat of the moment, she forgot to open the garage door. Thankfully, it was more of a coast rather than with the foot on the accelerator so there wasn't any real damage to speak of.haha!

My BFF (who I threw the shower for) had her twins Sat afternoon! She's doing good in spite of the last min c-section decision. They were hoping for natural. The babies came early and are small, so are staying in the baby ICU for a little while while they get a little more meat on their bones. But overall, everyone's doing good.

And I was surprised to see a Knottie/Nester/Bumpie, marsenemmo (sp?) as one of the nurses in the baby ICU. Fun small world connections!

Just thought I'd share... It's funny the things people do in the heat of the moment. lol.
