When do baby showers happen in terms of weeks??

Most moms seems to be REALLY pregnant at their showers. How many weeks into pregnancy do they usually happen??

I have a cousin due right after Christmas and I want to premptively beef up my calendar and make myself unavailable in the weekends where her shower might be.

Although....since it's the holidays, I probably truly will be busy.

Do you think she'll have it a little early to avoid the holidays?

around here it happens around 7-8 months. I think 9 months is pushing it (especially if it is a surprise!) GL.

Well, unless I'm KU. Then I'll go.....and take the opportunity to announce my pregnancy to the extended family.
