Give them a card that says Grandparents on it, or maybe a cake. I don't know, I'm not creative right now.

I've heard of giving them cards (like above) or gifts (like t-shirts, bibs, etc.) that say something about grandparents on them. We haven't told ours yet.

We gave ours picture frames that said something about grandkids and then where the picture goes, we just wrote "coming in March 2011".

We are going to show a slide show of our vacation pics, and then at the end say, "And here is one that we took when we got home" with a close up of the "pregnant" from the test on it. This will be in less than two weeks so we won't be telling anyone other than our parents.

I liked that idea from MelCfromMN of the picture frame ? so I told DH about it! Then both of us thought it to be a cute one. Some of the others are also good ones.

We are going home over the Labor Day week-end to see my parents first then his. We had already bought a pair of cute little baby booties in yellow. We were going to put one in each box with a card attached saying ?Hi to the grandparents of this new addition to the family? with a copy of the US picture inside the card. I should be 16 weeks ? 4 days when we give the box to my folks then 16 weeks ? 6 days when Fred?s parents get their little box.

We want to see their reaction to the gift box. I know my dad will breakdown and cry! Mom - I am just not sure her reaction? DH said his dad will be on cloud 9 all week-end with mom doing all the crying. Well we will see what happens with them - we will see!
