Lost TV Show (spoilers please)

I finished Lost yesterday. I am curious on what your thoughts on the final episode and the show as a whole.

My take was that all the people at the church were there to  help Jack move on. That they really did land on the island, and what happened between seasons 1 -5 did happen, but that all the last season happened to give Jack understanding and to assist him in his Final Walk.

    My understanding is that Seasons 1-5 really happened and half of Season 6 really happened. The island stuff in 6 was real, while the "sideways flashes" were really happening in a place that helped all of the characters realize that they had died. Each time you saw someone "remember" in the sideways world, they were really realizing that they had died. Jack was the last to come to that realization because he believed in logical things, not faith. The world was there to help all of them move on, not just Jack. It was like they had created this world to wait on each other so that they could all move on together.

    I really enjoyed the ending. I liked that it didn't answer every question, that it was left up to some interpretation. I really do miss this show!!!
