Moving to Lodi, need doctor recs

We're moving to Lodi in about 2 weeks from out of state.  I've asked my husband to get input from his new coworkers about doctors, but figured I'd ask here, too.  We'll need just about everything:

Pedi, Ob/Gyn (and opinions on hosptials would be great, too-Lodi vs Stockton, etc, planning on having kiddo #2 soon), Dentist, Eye Doctor, Derm., General Pract.

I think our insurance is Multipoint, or something like that.

TIA!

  • I went here for all 4 of my pregnancies and saw Dr. Pennisi.  He's awesome.

But I don't know about delivering at Lodi Memorial, I had a small in/out procedure there and did not care for it at all and my sister in law was there for a complication and she ended up with a staph infection.  Dr. Pennisi delivers at St. Joseph's in Stockton.

  • Welcome to Lodi! Glad to have another nestie here.

Whatever you do, avoid Lodi Memorial to deliver at. They are still stuck in the '50s, and won't allow your dh to spend the night, along with some other pretty stupid policies and backwards ways. I have ended up going to Sutter Davis to the birthing center there, and my pedi here in Lodi is good, but he's retiring so I can't recommend for that either.

We go into the TriValley for most of our health care, so I don't have any local recs for you.  I just wanted to say welcome to the area!
