Chinese Gender Chart?

For mom's who already had their baby or have found out the sex of their baby already!!! I find out the sex in 2 1/2 weeks and I just can't wait. I'm just curious if it was accurate for you or if it wasn't...it's saying a girl for me and even though I'll be happy with a girl, DH and I had our hearts set on a boy. So I'm just curious as to how accurate this chart is. Thanks!!!

I believe I took it took it two different times and I was getting girl and then boy. Well obviously I had a girl.

It is no more accurate than any old wives tales or gender predictors (besides an ultrasound). Mine said boy and I have a girl.

Mine said boy, I had a girl. It has a 50% chance of being right everytime. My cousin swears by it though since it was right for both of her kids- but she's kind of nutty!

My husband and I really thought we were going to be having a boy, the gender calculator and all the other gender myths pointed to us having a boy. We actually bought a couple of little boy outfits because we were convinced it was a boy.

Our original plan was to not find out and be surprised in the delivery room, but at our 19 week ultrasound at the very end of the appt we asked the tech to just tell us what we were having, mostly because we wanted to know if we were right. And we were wrong, we had the surpirse of a lifetime when the tech told us we were having a girl, we couldn't be more excited (well at least now we couldn't be, the first night my husband was a little dejected that it wasn't a boy, but is now over the moon that he will have a daddy's girl). I would not buy into all of those old wives tells that say what your going to have, just wait for your doctor's appt. Smile

I don't put any stock in any of the OWTs, including the gender chart, but it was right for me (boy). Pretty much every other OWT indicated girl, but all the Chinese gender charts said boy.

We were team green, and I was in agreement w/the chart - I swore from 6w on that this baby was a boy... most of our families agreed w/me, but DH was the stand alone who insisted that the baby was a girl. First words out of my mouth in the delivery room after my OB said it was a boy? "See?! I was right!!!" (of course, directed at my speechless DH) - Momma's intuition FTW! Wink

Like a PP said, it has a 50/50 chance so you are going to get a good number of people that say it predicted the sex of their baby. It predicted girl for us and we have a little boy.

We were team green and a few OWT's told me it was a boy. They were wrong. I wish I had of done other OWT predictors just for fun. My MIL swears by the needle one.

I thought it was a girl, I only had 3 dreams about the baby and those were after I was about 20/22wks pg and in all 3 dreams it was a girl. The started doubting myself towards the end bc everyone was THEN saying it was a boy (they all said girl in the beginning). My sister was dead set it was a boy, my other sister was dead set it was a girl. I should have never doubted mother's intuition

It was right for me, it said we were having a boy and we are. For some reason though, I just knew from the beginning that it was a boy...weird I know. As other posters have stated, I wouldn't put much stock in old wives' tales.

For DS it said girl and clearly it was wrong. I didn't look at it for DD. The string test was right for me both times, but I don't really believe the OWTs! Good Luck!
