Middle name for Carson

We are 95% sure we'll be naming our boy Carson but we are having the hardest time coming up with a middle name.

There are no traditions on either side of our families and me and DH's fathers' names don't really roll as a middle name either (Eric and Fay).

My DH's name begins with a 'J' but we're worried that our LO will get the nickname 'CJ' down the road and we don't like that.

Any ideas for us? Our last name starts with and M and is similar to Wells.

I actually like Carson Eric, so if you wanted to use a family name, I think that one works!

I love the name Carson and considered it for DS2. His name would have been Carson Riley, because we were using the family name Riley regardless. I like that combination.

I don't think an initial name will catch on, unless you purposely start calling him that. Middle names just aren't used that much for that to happen, imo. Given that, I like Carson James. We are using James as a mn (after DH), and we think it sounds good with most names. I also like Carson Michael, Carson Paul, Carson Joseph, Carson Matthew. It's a good name for most middle names, now that I pair some together! GL!

I also like Carson James.

I don't think that most people would call him CJ. Honestly mn's don't really come into play that often unless someone asks what it is and if you guys don't call him CJ I doubt others will.

Even if you used a 'J' MN, I doubt others would just start calling him CJ unless you did first. Even if he was ever called CJ, he could just tell them that's not his name.

No name suggestions, but I grew up with a kid named Carson. His middle name was J...as in, just the letter J, not Jay or short for anything either. Nobody ever tried to call him CJ.
