Beaumont OB and/or Pedi recs

Hi! We're moving to Beaumont next week from Boston and I need to find an OB for myself pretty quickly as I am pregnant. DD also needs a great pedi. Any recs are very much appreciated! TIA

    I don't have any recs but welcome to TX. I think you're probably in for a little culture shock coming from Boston to Beaumont. ;) I am from Western MA but have been in TX (Dallas, then Houston) for 15 years... We have a great board here. :)

    Thanks! I'm sure it will be a lot different than East Coast City living, but I'm looking forward to the change of scenary and experience of being somewhere new.

    You might page ayersfam on the Houston Nest Board. I'm not sure if she comes over here often but I think she's in Beaumont too. Congratulations and welcome to Texas!

    Hi there!  Congrats on your pregnancy and welcome to Texas.  I just moved to Beaumont last year after getting married - my husband grew up here.  What part of Boston are you from?  My brother lives in Peabody.

    My OBGYN is Dr. Bost with SouthEast Texas OBGYN.  I think he's wonderful and am glad I got the rec to go with him.  They are a large practice and all of their doc's come highly recommended, there are some female docs too if you are not comfortable with a male.  The phone there is #409-899-1499.

    I LOVE my older daughter's pedi here - Dr. Colbert.  I went to another recommended doc at first and was not impressed, so I was very glad when we found him.  He is with SETMA and the # there is 409-833-9797.  He does a great Donald Duck impression and always has fruit rollups in his pocket.  DD loves him.
