Reflux moms--Prevacid question

We are switching from  Axid to Prevacid Solutabs.  Dr said to put it inside his cheeks (1/4 tab) and give him something to drink (BM in our case) to dissolve it.

Do you basically give it to LO at the beginning of a feeding in that case?  We had to give the Axid before feedings so I'm not sure if the same applies with Prevacid.  How do you give it to LO?

    We try to give DS his dose of Prevacid two hours after he eats and 30 minutes before he eats...we were told this is the most effective way by our doctor and pharmacist. If DS is really hungry then I won't make him wait the two hour mark, but we do still wait 30 minutes after he takes the Prevacid.

    We break up the tablet and place it on DS's tongue. Next, we give him his pacifier which helps it dissolves the pill.
