My last weekend of maternity leave is over :(

Im just bumming right now. I know once I am back at work and in the swing of things it will probably get better, but right now I just don't want to go back. I feel like everything just went too fast. I wish I could go back have this time all over again...even those sleepless nights the first few weeks.

Right now DH is back in school and being a SAHM wouldnt work. I am hoping once he's done and baby #2 is on the way I can SAH for awhile or just work part time. Thanks for letting me ramble on a bit!

    i hear ya! i go back to work tomorrow after being home for 12 weeks. its sad.

    Atleast you got 2 months off though right? I only get 4 weeks. I go back in about 1.5weeks :( Not to mention I'm not thrilled with our "babysitting" situation. MIL will be keeping her :(

    You'll cherish the time you get together! (So everyone keeps telling me, and I'm trying to convence myself of this too) Hang in there mama.

    I got 12 weeks, I used some vacation time as part of that since I only got 8 weeks paid(@partial salary). I know I'll enjoy my time with him more when I cant be with him all day. It makes me sad someone else will get that time with him though.   Sorry you only get 4 wks, that sux!

    I hear you. I only have 1 week left on my maternity leave. I have been trying to enjoy every last second with my LO, even when he is crying.

    I am trying to take lots of pictures and videos so I can look at them at work.

    So sorry...this is my last week and I am not looking forward to going back to work.  Maternity leave goes by SO fast and when I look back I really didn't get everything I planned on accomplishing done (besides lots of cuddling with LO...which is fine by me).  Looking on the bright side of things...once I'm back at work we will be on a sure schedule (mommy can hope anyway) and that will be nice!!

    Oh my goodness, I am so sorry to hear that. I could not imagine having to leave her already, I am Canadian and we get a whole year off - I have been thinking more and more lately about how lucky we are. I mean we pay ass over teakettle in taxes but for things like this it is so worth it.

    Good luck going back, you'll be okay!!!!
